The filter was efficient at trapping the dust and dirt and still had some capacity left after 7 months in my granddaughters house I replaced the filter because of the apparent plugged condition but the air flow rate was still at about 85 % of new. I am going to replace them every six months in the future because this house is not a tight house and they suffer from dust infiltration from the dirt yards around them. Otherwise it may have lasted for a year. I have one in my house and it looks like it will last a whole year since this is a tight house and I installed an oversized filter frame for a larger filter. I now have filter sizing of 170 sq. inches per ton of air conditioning capacity. Much better filtering and longer lasting.

Due some mix-up at pick and ship I initially did not recieve the FC40R1011 equivalent filters but a call to your customer service dpt. recognized immediately what happened and shipped replacement that arrived today (11/8/17).
