Automatic Information Collection Technologies
A. Technologies Used
- Cookies. Cookies are small bits of data cached or stored on your computer based on Internet activity. Information collected through cookies may be obtained directly by or shared with third parties so that those third parties can provide analytics and advertising services to us. We use first party and third party cookies and other tools to monitor individual activity in aggregate to improve the Site. The information we gather includes IP address, user language, the operating system, browser type, the presence/absence of "flash" plug-ins, screen resolution, connection type, browsing behavior, and information that identifies the cookie.
You may update your cookie preferences by clicking here: Cookie Preferences - Pixels. Pixels (also known as web beacons) are types of code embedded in a website, video, email, or advertisement that sends information about your use to a server. When you access a website, video, email, or advertisement that contains a pixel, the pixel may permit us or a separate entity to drop or read cookies on your browser.
- Analytic Tools. We use third-party analytics providers such as Google Analytics on the Sites. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies and IP address to collect and analyze information about use of the Services and report on activities and trends. Google Analytics may also collect information regarding the use of other websites, apps, and online resources. You can learn about Google's practices by going to www.google.com/policies/privacy/partners/.
B. Purpose For Using Automatic Information Collection Technologies
- Functionality, Support and Security: Some of the online tracking technologies like the cookies we use for a variety of functionality and support purposes, such as to recognize your device, remember what items are in your shopping cart, enable you to use expedited checkout features, facilitate navigation, display information more effectively, personalize your experience such as recognize you when you leave or return to our Site, maintain the security of our Sites, manage your account, prevent crashes, fix bugs, save your preferences, and assist with basic Site functions and other performance functions.
Our checkout features are provided by third-party payment processors. For more information about our payment processor, please see Payment Processor below. - Session Replay: Some of the technologies implemented are used in a manner to recreate your session and understand how you navigated our website, what content or Services you looked at, and other related information that helps us assess how our Websites are being used. We may obtain this information through the use of cookies and pixels, and may share this with third parties to obtain related insights. Third party technologies we have implemented on our Websites and through our Services include the following:
- Microsoft Clarity: We partner with Microsoft Clarity and Microsoft Advertising to capture how you use and interact with our website through behavioral metrics, heatmaps, and session replay to improve and market our products/services. Website usage data is captured using first and third-party cookies and other tracking technologies to determine the popularity of products/services and online activity. Additionally, we use this information for site optimization, fraud/security purposes, and advertising. For more information about how Microsoft collects and uses your data, visit the Microsoft Privacy Statement.
- Targeted Advertising, Marketing Measurements: Pixel tags may be used to market our services to you, measure the success of our marketing campaigns, and compile statistics about Site usage and response rates. In addition, we may use the information we have collected from you to enable us to display targeted third-party advertisements on our website. Some advertisements on this website are served by third-party advertisers, ad networks, and ad servers. These third parties may use cookies, alone or in conjunction with web beacons or other tracking technologies, to collect information about you.
Some of these tracking technologies may track your activities across time and services for purposes of associating the different devices you use, and delivering relevant ads and/or other content to you ("Interest-based Advertising").
We also use audience matching services to reach people (or people similar to people) who have visited our Service or are identified in one or more of our databases ("Matched Ads"). This is done by us uploading a customer list to a technology service or incorporating a pixel from a technology service into our own Service, and the technology service matching common factors between our data and their data.
Third party technologies we have implemented on our Websites and through our Services include the following:- Meta (Facebook) Pixel: We use the Meta (formerly Facebook) Pixel to collect information about how users interact with our site. This helps us measure the effectiveness of our advertising and deliver more relevant ads on Meta platforms (such as Facebook and Instagram). Meta may use cookies and similar technologies to collect information such as your IP address, browser type, pages visited, and actions taken on our site. This data may be used by Meta in accordance with its Privacy Policy. For more information related to your choices related to data shared with Meta, please see Your Choices below. You can manage your preferences or opt out of personalized ads through your Meta account settings or by using browser-based opt-out tools.
- TikTok Pixel: Our site uses the TikTok Pixel to track visitor behavior such as page views, add-to-cart events, and purchases, enabling ad optimization and remarketing via TikTok. We may collect information such as your IP address, browser and device data, and cookie identifiers, and we may share such information with TikTok. Please see TikTok's Privacy Notice for more information about how it may process your data.
- GoogleAds/DoubleClick: We use Google advertising and measurement technologies—such as the Google tag and Google Ads remarketing—to help show ads, measure their effectiveness, and understand how people use our site. These tools allow Google and other third-party vendors to set and read identifiers (e.g., cookies or device identifiers) and to serve ads based on your past activity on our site or app. More information about your choices can be found in Your Choices below.
- Bing Ads (Microsoft Advertising): We use Microsoft Advertising, including the Universal Event Tracking (UET) tag, to measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns, analyze user interactions on our website, and support remarketing and audience building for advertising purposes. Microsoft's UET tag places cookies on your device and collects data about your browsing behavior, such as pages visited, actions taken (e.g., purchases or form submissions), and engagement patterns. This helps us understand the performance of our ads and deliver more relevant advertising to you on Microsoft's advertising network. This data may include device identifiers, IP address, browser type, pages viewed, conversion events, and aggregated audience lists, which may be shared with Microsoft and processed in accordance with Microsoft's privacy practices. Please see Microsoft's privacy statement for more details at https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/privacy/privacystatement.
- LinkedIn Ads: We use LinkedIn Ads to serve relevant ads, measure campaign effectiveness, and understand how users interact with our Website, which involves the use of cookies, pixels, local storage, and similar tracking technologies that collect data about your visit, such as device identifiers, IP addresses, browser and operating system, pages visited, and actions taken. We share such data with LinkedIn for advertising and analytics purposes as described above. LinkedIn may retain pseudonymized data for a limited period for reporting and analytics. You may choose to disable interest-based advertising by adjusting your ad preferences on LinkedIn and other advertising networks. LinkedIn members can control how their data is used for advertising through LinkedIn's own settings. More information about how LinkedIn uses information collected can be found at LinkedIn's privacy policy at https://www.linkedin.com/legal/privacy-policy?trk=content_footer-privacy-policy.
We do not control these third parties' tracking technologies or how they may be used. - Behavioral Analytics: We also use pixels in combination with cookies to track activity by a particular browser on a particular device. These pixels are provided by a third party and certain information may be shared back with such provider. In addition, we may use technologies included in applications (that are not browser-based like cookies and cannot be controlled by browser settings), such as SDKs, to track our communications, bring you advertising, and provide you with additional functionality, such as the ability to connect your account on our Sites with other third-party services. For more information about Advertising, please see Retargeting and Advertising below.
- Site Analytics: We use analytics services, such as Google Analytics, and Microsoft Clarity to help us understand how users access and use the Sites through the use and sharing of cookies. You can learn about Google's practices by going to www.google.com/policies/privacy/partners/. For more detailed information on how Clarity processes data, see Microsoft's privacy documentation and the Clarity privacy disclosure guidance at https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/clarity/setup-and-installation/privacy-disclosure
